CM40UK isn’t a huge company with warehouses, hundreds of staff or products arriving by the container load.

It’s just me.

From my workshop in the UK, I carefully choose products that deserve a second chance, create personalised gifts using laser engraving, and try to prove that shopping sustainably can also be exciting, affordable and full of surprises.

Whether it’s a discontinued favourite, a unique vintage find or a personalised gift made especially for you, everything you’ll find here has been chosen or created with care.

How CM40UK Began

CM40UK grew from something quite simple.

I’ve always disliked seeing perfectly good products thrown away simply because a shop closed, packaging changed, a product was discontinued or someone no longer wanted it.

There was nothing wrong with them.

They just needed someone to discover them again.

That idea became CM40UK.

What started with finding pre-loved treasures, surplus stock and end-of-line products has gradually grown into something much bigger. Today, alongside carefully sourced products, I also create personalised gifts using laser engraving and other creative techniques from my workshop.

The result is a shop where you never quite know what you’ll discover next.

Because of the way I source many of my products, stock is often limited. Once something has sold, I can’t always replace it.

That’s part of what makes shopping with CM40UK a little different.

Why Sustainability Matters

I don’t believe sustainability has to mean buying expensive products with an “eco-friendly” label.

Sometimes the most sustainable thing we can do is simply make better use of what already exists.

Giving a pre-loved product another home, rescuing discontinued stock or repurposing something rather than throwing it away all help reduce unnecessary waste and keep perfectly usable products in circulation for longer.

I’m also realistic.

Not everything at CM40UK is second-hand or upcycled, and I’ll always be honest about that. I stock a mixture of new, pre-loved and handmade products, and every listing clearly explains exactly what you’re buying.

For me, sustainability isn’t about being perfect.

It’s about making better choices wherever we can.
